Before and After.

Explore a curated collection of our restoration project videos, showcasing the process, craftsmanship, and attention to detail behind each transformation—from worn and damaged floors to fully restored finishes.

The project required extensive removal of bonded carpet pad, staples and fasteners, along with stair work, repairs, and floor leveling. A new tile entry was integrated flush with the surrounding hardwood to complete the transition. The floor was then refinished using the ProCoat system, restoring clarity and durability to the original material.

This three-story, 2,700-square-foot historic Fayetteville home, built in 1903, featured original flooring that was initially considered beyond saving. A mix of red oak, white oak, and chestnut was carefully repaired using salvaged material, with custom details including end-grain hearth infill and a brass-inlaid border. Due to the age and brittleness of the wood, sanding was approached conservatively, with additional structural repairs completed as needed. The result preserves the character of the original flooring while restoring long-term durability.

This 965-square-foot project revealed extensive deterioration once the hall runner and area rugs were removed, including rotten flooring, subfloor, and compromised floor joists, requiring a full structural rebuild. Reclaimed material was used to site-mill a custom herringbone field, integrating new work with the existing floor. The result is a clean, cohesive restoration that balances structure and character. Finished with Basic Coatings HyperTone and StreetShoe NXT Matte.

Classic case of old, neglected flooring across 650 square feet. Large gaps were addressed with a tailored approach to each condition, while wormholes and insect damage were repaired using epoxy and wood flour. An old floor furnace opening was reworked using reclaimed material into an end-grain block detail with a nod to traditional parquet patterning. The work reflects a deep understanding of materials, paired with the ingenuity required to bring a compromised floor back together. Finished with a custom stain and Basic Coatings StreetShoe.
